About Eagle’s Nest Projects
Eagle’s Nest Projects is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization inspiring future aviators by building aircraft and educating our students for the future.
Eagle’s Nest Projects has teamed up with high schools and mentors across the United States to teach and instill the need for skills in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). This is achieved by mentors working closely with students in the building of a Van’s RV-12 aircraft. The Eagle’s Nest motto of “Mentors build the student … students build the aircraft” imparts the importance of being socially responsible and contributing to your community. This simple motto has allowed each Eagle’s Nest Project to inspire hundreds of students to strive for greatness and to believe that there is nothing that can’t be accomplished through hard work and perseverance.
Local Eagle’s Nest Projects are made possible through generous donations from individuals, businesses, grants, and foundations. Donations are used 100 percent to directly fund Eagle’s Nest Projects and related activities.
