Our Undertaking
The building of a Van’s RV-12iS. Central High School STEM Aviation Program provides students a unique, inspiring, and empowering STEM education experience. Our programs are designed to enhance student learning that harbor technical abilities, enhances communication, teamwork, and leadership skills while fostering an appreciation for diverse cultures. We do this by a mentor lead program that inspires and ignites students, schools, and community pride. Central High School STEM Aviation Program is part of a larger organization called Eagle’s Nest Projects. Eagle’s Nest Projects are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization inspiring future aviators and leaders.
STEM
The Central High School STEM Aviation Program meets the Natural Science Foundation (NSF) and the NASA Directorate by expanding the number of student’s involved in STEM education. Our program helps improve the STEM pipeline by including underserved and/or underrepresented students in our program. As part of the NSF goal, our program provides training to young woman and man to pursue career in aviation field.
Mission
Central High School STEM Aviation Program is designed to inspire the next generation of aviation leaders. We provide students with an experiential education that excites, engages, and enriches through a unique, learn-by-doing curriculum focused around aviation. We provide a pathway for students to pursuit careers in the aviation and technical fields.
